after recalling burning
attention to many
attempts to splice together
long pauses with short
bursts of spent energy

At the site of mere insight
belied by cult-like
indecipherable silences
striking underlying
noncompliances
with quiet defiance

Abbreviated communication
as a minimization
of long-engaging conversations
with the accentuation
on curt blurbs and terse learning

Implanted in asphalt
as hilariously blasphemous
exhibiting astonishing dexterity
as perverts prowl in search
of tumultuously driven love
handed off as a taut
paranoia with pause

In advance held as a pair
in example of supple love
powerfully colorful
while wonderfully wily
at the same time
with lively mutations
overtaking becoming staid

A contemporary number
combining pattering feet
with tilting upper body beneath
an amplified cloudless sky
like divine sapphire eyes
shining as azure seas
undulating with appeal...
