to the ground
in a roll out
for transplants
left up in the air
by funding bans
for displacement camps
due to clashes
after coming under attack
due to lacks of understanding
as odder artifacts
contemplating star power
both real and imagined
like lossely applied patches
for grampas in uncanny
moon landings
by bobble-headed tchotchkes
donning rain bonnets
of melancholy for starlings
sounding alarms
over petrified logs
sitting atop polished marble
noisily congregating in flocks...
